Deposit and Payment Information
A
$50 deposit is required at time of booking to reserve your space and
time. We accept all major credit cards and deposits and balances
may be paid over the phone. The total due minus the deposit is
due prior to the event and must be paid in full prior to the
performance. We no longer accept personal checks or cash at the
party! If you must pay in cash at the party, it must be
approved by our office prior to your event and if payment is not made
in cash, you will forfeit your deposit and the performance will not be
made. Once again, we do not accept personal checks. If your
event is a corporate party, we do accept business checks.
What about emergencies?
Should your child become sick, hurt, or unavailable on your party date,
you may move your party to another date without penalty. You may
take advantage of this rescheduling once. If you require a second
date change, there will be a fifty percent (50%) rescheduling fee.
Cancellation
of a party that we have received a deposit on must be done in writing
at least seven (7) days prior to the event and will be charged a
documentation fee of $20.00. If you cancel your party less than
seven (7) days prior to the event, there is a fifty percent (50%)
cancellation fee. Any party cancelled less than 24 hours prior to
the event will be charged the full amount of the party.
Our Guarantee
Each
performer has completed a training program by a 15-year veteran
childrens entertainment performer, which provides a top quality
performance at your event. We believe that you and your guests
will thoroughly enjoy the performance.
Our employees go through a very thorough hiring process when they join A Cast of Characters and remember - having
fun is a TOP priority of ours and it shows in our performances!
Each performer has the right equipment needed to deliver a top-notch performance.
They will work hard to make your party or event the best ever.
Each
costumed performer utilizes a professional costume, insuring the
highest quality appearance the children's entertainment industry can
offer. Over ten years in business backs up our performances and
costumes. We clean all of our costumes immediately after use
each week. We work hard to look good for you and your guests!
Each
performer is instructed on emergency procedures... If their car breaks
down, if they are in an accident, or if they get hurt, they will
immediately call the client and explain the situation. Next, they
notify the office. In the event that a problem occurs beyond the
control of A Cast of Characters causing a party no-show, we stand
behind our integrity and will reimburse your deposit immediately.
Additionally, you will receive Funny Money in the amount to cover a
FREE performance at anytime you choose within a one year time
period. We value your patronage.
In addition...
We
will keep our minds and operations open for suggestion. If you
have comments on areas that we could improve upon, please let us
know. Please keep in mind that sometimes due to unforeseen
circumstances (i.e. traffic, weather, problems finding the party) we
may should up a few minutes late and try the best that we can to show
up on time. The performer usually does a few parties on Saturdays
and Sundays and may run a bit late due to unforeseen
circumstances. The performer will call the number you provide if
they do run late.
Please
remember that performing in costumes can be very difficult to
perform in because of visibility, weight and heat factors. So
cheer the performer on... they're doing the best they possibly can!
Performing
in costumes in Florda can be quite challenging (and HOT!). Please
keep in mind that the performer may need to take periodic cooling down
breaks and working indoors during the summer (and AC) is highly
recommended!
